Changing Planet
When you look at the bigger picture it's difficult to see what part we play as individuals in Climate Change. However, it's clear that all of us do have an impact and that worldwide this adds up to produce about 30 billion tonnes of CO2 emissions a year. In these pages we plan to move down from this huge figure to the country-level then down to city-level and onto the household. Finally we will move to the individual. We realise that there is no such thing as an average person and we realise that the figures we provide will be estimates. Nevertheless, it is the actions of each one of us that makes up those averages, no matter how individual we are.
