The story of Climate Change has been around for a while, but it's only recently we've started to listen. This isn't necessarily because it's been falling on deaf ears. It's just that sometimes you have to be in the right place or at the right time or with the right people to understand. Like a book you stopped reading then re-discovered: you shouldn't be annoyed you didn't finish it the first time around, just glad you found it before it's too late.
The story of Climate Change isn't easy. It doesn't fit neatly into any genre, being part crime-thriller, part historical novel and part science-fiction. There don't seem to be any heroes or heroines and there definitely isn't a neat ending. By its very nature Climate Change is unpredictable, and the methods used to describe it are changing all the time. In addition, the dictionary of Climate Change speak is growing by the minute, and each new account is peppered with numbers, statistics and different units of measurement.
At the Good Energy Shop, we don't claim to be experts but we'd like to pass on what we know. And, slightly selfishly, we believe that by trying to communicate the situation we may also understand it better ourselves.
