New products and new ways to a low carbon lifestyle

New products and new ways to a low carbon lifestyle

Last December the Good Energy Shop tentatively opened its virtual doors to a small number of Good Energy customers. The idea was to test the waters by offering a selected range of products that would contribute towards a low carbon lifestyle. We also wanted feedback right from the start and to involve our customers as much as possible in the development of the site.

We were over-the-moon with the response. Not necessarily in terms of actual sales figures, but in terms of the level of interest we received. It was clear people wanted to know what low carbon products were out there and, more importantly, how to choose which ones would be best for them.

On the back of this feedback we have introduced a number of new products including several low-carbon heating solutions, a range of brilliant and eco-educational books and - with summer on the way - some more outdoor lighting, torches and solar phone chargers. We are also awaiting a number of exciting future products such as the ecobutton which allows you to switch your computer into energy-saving mode at the touch of a button and the wi-eye which, when used in combination with the eco-eye meter, will allow you to download data onto your computer and analyse your home consumption.

So now the Good Energy Shop is up and running we look forward to hearing from you. Our doors are now fully open: feel free to browse, window shop, fill your shopping basket and - above all - let us know what you think.
