Good Energy Shop Microgeneration section launches

Good Energy Shop Microgeneration section launches

With today's economic and environmental pressures, making your own renewable energy has never been more appealing. However the process of installation can seem daunting, which is why the Good Energy Shop has launched its microgeneration section.

We want to provide our customers with everything they need to become the microgenerators of the future all on one site. This includes products and installers, information on grants and planning permission, ways to make your home more energy-efficient, and payment for your electricity through our Good Energy Home Generation scheme.

Over the last six months we have thoroughly researched the market to find the most robust and best value products, and teamed them with expert microgeneration installers. Already we have a selection of wind turbines, solar thermal panels and heat source pumps and, in the future, we plan to offer solar photovoltaic panels and biomass heating.

Alongside this we also have information pages on technologies, planning permission and grants. And to see how just possible it is to become a microgenerator, take a look at our ten steps to microgeneration.
