Good Energy wins Microgeneration award

Good Energy has won the Micropower Council Award for Innovation. Following their win of an Ashden award for Sustainable Energy in 2006, the prize is another feather in the cap for their pioneering microgeneration scheme. "We believe passionately in microgeneration," said CEO Juliet Davenport on receiving the award. "And it is great to be recognised for our work."
Good Energy has been running microgeneration schemes since 2004. They provide financial rewards and support to individuals, businesses and communities who produce their own energy through wind, solar and other renewable sources. The prize is particularly timely since Good Energy Shop will soon be offering microgeneration products and services for customers to buy directly from the site.
The Proven wind turbine is already available at the Good Energy Shop and we are currently conducting a thorough assessment of several more microgeneration products and installation services that we plan to offer. Needless to say we want to make sure that we only put forward the best in terms of quality, value-for-money, customer service and high-end technology. Here at the Good Energy Shop we're pretty excited about this venture but we want to be certain that we provide our customers with a genuine and understandable service. Millions of the UK's homes can become microgenerators - we want to help turn that potential into reality. Watch this space...
