Good Energy Wins Bath Life Award
Good Energy, the only supplier of 100% renewable electricity in the UK, was presented with the Bath Life Green Award as voted for by the people of Bath.
The Bath Life Awards celebrate the achievements of businesses in and around the city of Bath. Chippenham based Good Energy beat Bath and North East Somerset Council and the Sofa Project to be awarded the first ever Green Award at the Bath Life Awards.
Juliet Davenport, Chief Executive of Good Energy spoke about the success, "We have been lucky enough to win some great awards recently. Winning the Bath Life awards means so much as it is voted for by the people in and around the city. It feels great to know that our community wanted us to win!"
Media Clash, Bath's leading Media business, hosted the awards. Founder of the firm, Jane Ingham spoke about Good Energy's success. "It was essential we introduced the Green category at this year's Awards. Bath, like every city, can be much greener and celebrating companies for their green achievements encourages others to improve. Good Energy is setting a high standard and we hope the people and businesses of Bath will all strive to be as green."
