With its individual socket remote control the Owl Multisocket Power Saver Strip helps you reduce the amount of electricity you use by switching off those appliances normally kept on standby.

Simply plug the OWL Multisocket Power Saver Strip into the wall socket and then plug your appliances into it. Then using the remote control provided, you can choose to turn off either each individual socket as and when required or use the "All Off" button to turn all sockets off all at once. It's that easy!  

So, you get the ultimate standby control of 4 separate devices in just one unit.  Gillian, a Good Energy customer, tested this product for us and she thought that this solution would be ideal for:

  • Sky+/ Freeview+ users - you can leave your + box on standby so that it can continue to record your favourite programmes, but still turn off your TV, VCR, and DVD player when not in use.
  • Computer workstations - you can still work on your PC or Laptop, whilst still turning your printer and speakers off when not in use.
  • Controlling mains sockets where access is restricted - the remote control works using radio waves so it doesn't need to be directly in front of the power strip to work.
  • People with disabilities -the handy remote control means you don't have to keep bending down to reach the socket switches.
  • Children -turning things off by remote control is more fun when teaching kids to save energy.

Included with every OWL Multisocket Power Saver Strip pack is:

  • 1 x 4 position socket power strip
  • 1 x 4 channel remote control unit
  • 1 x 12v A23 battery (for the remote control)

  • 1 Owl remote control unit can be synchronised to multiple OWL adapters and power strips.
  • If the RED indicator on the remote control becomes dimmed during operation, the batteries are running low and need changing.

  • The system has more than 1 million codes to avoid interference. In case interference happens or you lose your remote, just clear the adaptor/power strip codes and repeat the Synchronisation procedure.
