Great product - first GU10 bulb that sensibly competes in terms of brightness with higher powered bulbs!

It's taken me some time to invest in these bulbs as they are expensive. However once I'd saved up the necessary readies I was eager to see how these bulbs compared to the existing ones. They are very good and look stylish too. They take a minute or two to warm up but once bright, I never think of them again. I've written the date I replaced my former bulbs on my cupboard notice board. I'll let you know if they last the average 12 years the info states!

Not good as they don't fit a standard GU10 fixture ie the ones that the standard halogen bulbs fit into.

I used the Megaman company to replace a white LED I have put in my kitchen 3 months before. Having changed the fitting and then put the LED in I was disappointed so I hadn't replaced the others. So I was very happy to find that the MEGAman would go in the same fitting and I could make a direct comparison with my old downlighters and this new one. First off it is a huge improvement on the LED - giving off a much whiter light (the LED always was a bit blue) and a much better reach of lighting. It was still not quite as warm as the original lights, but it's the best energy efficient option I've seen and you'll definetly be able to see to cook!
